English is planning a talk show centered around social networking called The Stream, Wired reports.
The show was planned before the Middle East protests where social networking played a huge role (or at least in the coverage), but it’s certainly good timing for Al Jazeera, which has been the big media winner. The talk show will be less scripted and use live social networking info such as Twitter and YouTube and integrate it tightly in the coverage, though editors will still ultimately decide what topics to cover.
Sounds like an interesting experiment if nothing else.
