Dow Jones Off 75

Today has been remarkably quiet.

There was no economic data in the U.S. this morning.

Earlier, the S&P 500 was on track to trade in one of its narrowest intraday ranges in 17 years.

Stocks took a bit of a dip around 11:40 in their first real move of the session, but are now rebounding up off their lows.

Right now, the Dow is down around 75 points, and the S&P 500 is down 0.5 per cent:

The U.S. dollar index is sliding today as the euro appreciates against the dollar. The index is down 0.3 per cent to 80.36 after hitting a high of 80.75 earlier.
