We have an advertising industry source who was given a lengthy glimpse, by Googlers, of where Google plans to take search.He walked away impressed.
This source is a bit of a tease.
Because he wants to leverage what he learned for his own business advantage, he would only share with us the following quote:
We are going to see more search innovation from Google. Visual search is going to become a big, big deal. It has a potential to disrupt. This is about getting your results in a way that goes beyond blue links. Think about instead of coming back with a bunch of blue links, what could you do to turn those search results into real meaningful decision points for consumers.
