A Plane With 112 People On Board Crashes In DR Congo

According to Reuters, an aeroplane with 112 people on board crashed Friday trying to land in poor weather at Kisangani airport in Democratic Republic of Congo.The crash was confirmed by a government official in Kinshasa.

Additionally, the BBC reports 40 people have been pulled alive from the wreckage and it’s not yet known where the plane originated.

The plane is owned by Hewa Bora, a private Congolese airline that flies from Kinshasa to various destinations around the country.
