A New York attorney was arrested late Friday after allegedly beating his Weight Watchers executive girlfriend to death and leaving her body on ice.Debt-laden lawyer Jason Bohn left a handwritten note at the scene of the slaying claiming he killed his girlfriend while drunk, the New York Post reported.

It was an accident, it was an accident, it was an accident,” the note reportedly stated.

Danielle Thomas, 27, died early on the morning of Sunday, June 24, the Post reported.

Just hours after she was killed, Bohn pretended to be Thomas and texted her friends so they wouldn’t worry, saying she was attending Manhattan’s gay pride parade, sources told the New York Post.

Bohn, who received his law degree from the University of Florida, was profiled in a January 2011 article in The New York Times on law school debt, the legal blog Above the Law pointed out Monday.

At the time, Bohn reportedly had $200,000 in debt and earned $33 an hour while working as a legal temp.
