Several tornadoes tore through the Dallas-Forth Worth area this afternoon, tossing trucks hundreds of feet in the sky and flattening homes.

The footage shows trucks being overturned, roofs collapsing, power outages and trees being stripped of their bark.
The National Weather Service says the tornado caused “considerable damage” near the towns of Cleburne, south of Fort Worth, and Lancaster, south of Dallas.
The mayor has declared a state of disaster in Arlington, WFFA reports.
Injuries are reported in the city of Kennedale, according to CNN.
A spokeswoman for Arlington Independent School District, between Dallas and Fort Worth, told the AP that students in all schools were taking shelter.
A tornado watch is in effect for 33 counties in north-central and northeastern Texas until 8 p.m. CDT, the National Weather Service reported.
The weather service provides instructions for staying safe:
MOVE TO AN INTERIOR BATHROOM…CLOSET…OR HALLWAY ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING. COVER YOURSELF WITH BLANKETS…PILLOWS…OR A MATTRESS FOR PROTECTION. A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT TUESDAY EVENING FOR EASTERN TEXAS.
