An independent designer furiously claims that Forever 21 copied one of her handcrafted necklaces.
Katherine Kane told The Consumerist that she felt “an acute wave of sadness” when she saw the necklace Forever 21 was selling.
“It was such an exact (albeit poor quality) replica of my LA Signature Pendant, which I designed by hand with a calligraphy pen, that it was almost like discovering my signature had been forged on something without my consent,” Kane told The Consumerist.

It’s unlikely that Kane’s customers would swap out her heirloom piece for a cheap bauble for Forever 21.
Still, the resemblance is uncanny.
Forever 21 hasn’t commented on the necklace.
