A cleaner fell from the giant glass windows of Sydney's Apple store

A window cleaner was seriously injured after he fell three storeys from Sydney’s Apple Store yesterday afternoon.

A bus shelter broke the man’s fall before landed on the ground.

He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, with injuries to his pelvis, spine and head.

WorkCover is investigating the George Street incident.

The store is a well-known landmark in the city because of its completely transparent appearance – and of course the big white apple.

Here’s a look at the location of the accident.
