Jim Furman, CEO of Tarheel Capital, is one of Wendy’s biggest franchise owners (he has 86 locations), and he’s making his support for Chick-fil-A known.This morning, several of his Wendy’s locations in North Carolina put up signs that read, “We stand with Chick-fil-A,” reports the L.A. Times.
At least one of his South Carolina restaurants did the same, according to WBTV 3.
The signs were taken down a few hours after they went up.
Today is Mike Huckabee’s Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, which encourages people to show their support for Chick-fil-A and its president Dan Cathy, who earlier made comments about gay marriage that sparked a political firestorm.
