Bloomberg Radio host Tom Keene just tweeted a fascinating fact: 90 per cent of the world’s people live in the Northern Hemisphere.
This map posted by Frank Jacobs at bigthink.com shows population distribution by latitude and that most people live north of the equator.
The “sweet spot” where populations thrive is between 20 degrees and 40 degrees north, Jacob says.
