6 Million Facebook Members Have Already Registered Usernames

Some 5.75 million Facebook users have registered their usernames since Friday evening, according to Mashable.

While that’s not a huge percentage of Facebook’s user base — less than 3% — it’s still an impressively large number for the first weekend.

But… still happy they didn’t charge $5 — or $5 a year — for those names?
