- Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather turned 41 on Saturday.
- Mayweather unwrapped courtside tickets to an LA Lakers basketball game, a load of jewellery, and a private jet before he partied alongside Mariah Carey in Hollywood.
- He dressed as a cowboy during the day and sported a “Fifty Shades of Grey” look in the evening.
It was Floyd Mayweather’s birthday on February 24, and if you think the 41-year-old had a quiet night in, you don’t know Floyd Mayweather.
The American’s celebrations included a “Fifty Shades of Grey” theme, a private jet, and list of party-goers that included rapper Wiz Khalifa, singer Mariah Carey, and Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx.
Mayweather, best known for his perfect 50-0 boxing record, has a Las Vegas penthouse that has its own Instagram account, an insane car collection that includes two Bugatti Veyrons, and a strip club called Girl Collection.
While he may appear to have everything he could ever want, that didn’t stop him getting a private jet as a birthday treat – and he bought it for himself, according to the Daily Mail.

Mayweather already had two private jets before the purchase – but three private jets is still good going, as it means you can showcase them all on your personal pilot’s Instagram account.
The new jet, which looks like the $US60 million Gulfstream G650, had been embossed with the logo of The Money Team – Mayweather’s lifestyle brand – and has already been dubbed the “AirMayweather.”
It has leather seats with loads of legroom, multiple flat screen television sets, and enough space to accommodate an entourage.
Mayweather’s other presents included courtside seats for an LA Lakers basketball game (where he was dressed like a cowboy), a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom, and a load of diamond-encrusted jewellery that he wore around his neck.
Once Mayweather was done unwrapping, it was time to party in Hollywood at a bash that wouldn’t have looked out of place on the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film set.
Celebrities were told to “bring your own mask” at a night Mayweather called “50 Shades of May.”
The bash – complete with a flaming cake and TMT-branded water for the teetotalers – was held at The Reserve in downtown Los Angeles, according to The Sun.
Mayweather’s family attended, as did celebrities like Carey, Khalifa, and Foxx.
