If you’re getting a little bored with your work, the global jobs search company Indeed has turned up some different jobs to look at.
“We’ve had a broad look across our job posts and identified a variety of roles that, on the surface at least, could not be described as mundane or uninteresting,” says managing director Chris McDonald.
“Whether you fancy yourself as James Bond or not, working as a spy for ASIO is a job that captures the imagination, so we’ve ranked it the number one most interesting role.”
These five jobs are so interesting they might not last:
Spies like us. ASIO is looking for intelligence officers for its 2018 intake. Pay is $79,862-$85,731, plus 15.4% superannuation.
Corporate climber. Vacancies at the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb. Each climb takes about 3.5 hours and has more than 1,400 stairs.
Taste of success. Become a Sensory Testing Panellist. Chandler Macleod in Melbourne has a client looking for people to conduct taste, texture and aroma tests on food products.
Koala carer. If working to support animals is your thing, Australia Zoo at Beerwah in Queensland is looking for a casual Leaf Cutter to visit gum plantations daily to collect enough leaves to sustain the zoo’s koala population.
Ninjas needed. The Simulation Centre in Western Australia, no doubt seeing the success of Nine’s Ninja Warrior, is looking for people with parkour, ninja and climbing skills to train children in their ninja arena.
