Bernard Goldberg, a former art dealer who ran high-end art galleries in Manhattan and the Hamptons for over a decade, has just listed his mansion on East Hampton’s posh Lily Pond Lane for $40 million. At that price, it’s one of the most expensive homes currently for sale in the Hamptons. The oceanside estate has six bedrooms and a carriage house that’s been converted to staff quarters.

Goldberg, who made a fortune selling hotels, liquidated his gallery’s extensive art collection at a $10 million sale at Christie’s in 2010. Looks like he is continuing to downsize with the sale of his East Hampton home.
