We’re now a year away from the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics, and everyone has reason to be excited regardless of whether or not you’re from London. But to be fair, Londoners should be doing cartwheels right now because their Olympic grounds already look great.

A handful of stadiums and arenas have been erected and a few have already have hosted athletes. The Aquatics centre has held several practices in its pool, and the renovated Greenwich Park has held an international equestrian event.

The pageantry will be here before we know it, so it’s best to get familiar with the grounds now.
