The brand new 180-ft. Quinta Essentia superyacht, the largest vessel ever launched by the Netherlands’ Heesen Yachts, has been listed for sale via Nakhimov Yachts for about $100 million. With sleek exterior lines by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, the yacht’s most striking feature is a grand swimming pool on the aft deck complete with a waterfall.
The owner also had a portion of the superstructure painted a custom metallic dark meant to mimic the hue of his favourite Tuscan wines; some of his impressive collection of vintages is customarily housed in an onboard cellar. Other standouts are a striking atrium and staircase.
The yacht has a very modern interior by Ken Freivokh Design and Michela Reverberi with metallic silver accents. The owner’s suite, the largest seen on any of Heesen’s yachts, features a private balcony.
The yacht’s sundeck features a forward sunbathing are plus Jacuzzi with amazing views and an aft dining area with shade from awnings. Centrally placed on the same deck are a luxuriously large gym and spa, complemented by steam and massage rooms.
Also one of the most powerful Heesen launches ever, the yacht’s dual 4,300KW, MTU 20V 4000 M93L diesel engines are good for a max speed of 24 knots, a cruising speed of 22 knots, and a range of 4500 nm at cruising speed.
