Last week, we brought you the best restaurants for business meetings in Sydney.

Now it’s Melbourne’s turn for popular restaurants and cafes to discuss work matters.

The following results are based on the Dimmi People’s Choice Awards 2016, which looked at more than 700,000 reviews and ratings in the last 12 months to determine the best restaurants across the nation.

According to restaurant booking platform, Dimmi, the ideal restaurant for a work meeting “has to be smart, but not too pretentious, it has to be entertaining, but not too loud, and most importantly, the food has to be damn delicious.”

The results were diverse ranging from French to Argentinean, South African and Peruvian in a mix of neighbourhood gems and fine dining restaurants.
